A Distance Learning Approach
A ‘distance learning’ approach is offered for individual UK based candidates
where group facilitated tuition (the APICS suggested method of
delivery) is not a feasible option. Note this is not CBT or webbased
and requires candidates to be extremely motivated & selfdisiplined
to embark upon the CPIM programme.
What is included for each module :·
- Original copy of official APICS Participant Guide
- A dedicated email address to send queries, test question answers for marking
- A dedicated telephone number (mobile) to leave
messages (voice or SMS text) and subject queries
- The latest edition APICS illustrated Dictionary on CDROM (original not
copy) **
- Registration form for Examinations
- The Exam content manual (original not copy) **
- SAEs for various Exercises to be returned by post
- Additional practice questions for revision purposes ( approx 300 )
- ongoing support (tricks, tips, and advice for certification)
- Additional useful slides to compliment the standard APICS course work (usually in pdf format)
What is not included :·
- Entrance fee for Examination – this will be paid directly
to your Administrator (e.g. IPICS for the UK & Ireland assistance
will be provided in this process –
addresses, deadlines etc)
- Candidate must make their own way to test centre (e.g.
London for the UK)
Here, sample tests are submitted via email, any corrected answers
are explained when results are returned. However a candidate should
indicate if they have ‘guessed’ an answer – this is to ensure clarity –
otherwise a correctly guessed item would not be explained.
Note, items marked ** are only supplied with the first course ( Basics
of Supply Chain Management ) as these items are one off purchases
which will remain valid throughout the entire certification process
